I’m so glad I mentioned going to Quartzite, because my friend Betsy from home introduced me to Amy and Fred who are here! We met and had a wonderful day together. I’m sharing all my travels plans so this can happen more often. I really enjoy meeting friends of friends, so let’s keep it going! Think of people you know who would like a visit from me. I can always stay in the van, and it can be anything from just having lunch together to staying with them a few days.

2/9-24 Explore New Mexico; Guadeloupe Mountains, Carlsbad Caverns, Big Bend (Texas) National Parks, then head north through Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Colorado Springs
2/25-3/1 Visit niece Care and husband Greg in Denver, CO, Van parked till 4/15
3/2-31 Couch-surf with friends in Westchester, NY; I rented a car for the month
4/1-14 Visit Eva in New Zealand
4/15-30 Explore western Colorado; Aspen, Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde National Parks
5/1-30 Explore Utah; too many National Parks to mention!
6/1-9 Head north to Montana; pass through Grand Tetons, Yellowstone National Parks
6/10-12 Canoe trip, White Cliffs of the Missouri River (hard dates)
6/13-7/16 Head north through Glacier National Park to Banff, Jasper and the Alaskan Highway to Fairbanks, AK
7/17-20 Vanstock gathering, Palmer, AK (hard dates)
7/21-27 Visit a friend in Homer, AK
7/28-8/31 Explore Alaska; Katmai, Kenai Fjords, Denali National Parks
9/1-14 Head south to Seattle
Sept-Nov Head south (through the mountains this time) to San Diego
Dec-March Head east through Texas, Tennessee, Georgia
April-May Head north through the mountains
